Qualification has begun for the final phase of the eEURO 2021 eSport tournament in July, played exclusively with the Konami eFootball PES 2021 video game. The qualifying matches, which will involve 55 teams representing their respective federations affiliated to the European Football Associations, will be broadcast live on the official UEFA YouTube channel. The winner of the competition will be announced on 10 July, which is one day before the UEFA EURO 2020 final at Wembley Stadium.
Held over from 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic this summer’s championship is due to be held in 12 different countries.That says UEFA provides the opportunity to chop and change the venues if a host city is insisting on holding a match behind closed doors.
